Bath Bombs A Beginner Guide to Making Amazing Bath Bombs and Bathtub Treats! (Audible Audio Edition) Erica Evans Sasha Berryman LLC Open Spirit Publishing Books
A dangerous book. On page 25 the author claims that lye is sodium laureth sulfate and can be used in bath bombs. IT SHOULD NOT! Adding lye to a bath bomb is dangerous. Lye is sodium hydroxide and is used in those powerful oven cleaners and drain opening chemical concoctions. They require caution even when simply adding to the drain to unclog it. Sodium laureth sulfate is a different chemical entirely and simply adds some foaming action to bath bombs. It's a shame because the book is pretty good otherwise. This book should really be removed from being sold until corrected. And prior purchasers warned of this bad information. Someone is going to be hurt by this information.

Bath Bombs A Beginner Guide to Making Amazing Bath Bombs and Bathtub Treats! (Audible Audio Edition) Erica Evans Sasha Berryman LLC Open Spirit Publishing Books Reviews
Great gift for my daughter
Tons of bath bomb recipes, there are so many different bath bombs to choose from. There are bath bombs of different colors and ones with different scents. There is even a gold one!
Very nice. Worked great for my project.
If you are a certified aromatherapist and soap maker, as I am, on page 21 the author "teaches" how to make your own essential oil by infusing the plant material in a carrier oil. This is just wrong. On page 25, she says that lye (sodium hydroxide) is "best know as sodium laureth sulfate" and gives the soap the "tendency to become frothy." She then goes on advising to be careful when adding to bath bombs. Those statements are outrageous and can cause a lot of harm to consumers.
I have purchased a bath bomb at a local "Lush"store and really loved it. So I thought I should try to make my own. Not only does this book do a great job at teaching you how to make them, but it also teaches you on the benefits of using bath bombs. Loved it!
